Make AI use within your organisation visible and traceable
02/08/2026
When employees use AI through personal accounts or unapproved applications, the organisation may lack information about the data processed and the results used. Before introducing an approved access route, it helps to understand what teams need.
Ask about specific tasks
What do employees use AI for? What information do they enter? What is missing from the approved tools? These questions help identify the required capabilities and potential data flows.
A ban may be necessary for certain data or applications. Teams also need a practical way to carry out permitted tasks.
Configure the approved access route
Define which models may process which data and which sources are approved. Employees should be able to identify the information used for an answer and know whom to contact about errors or missing approvals.
NomOS provides a shared workspace for this. Sources and policies have assigned owners and access permissions. For connected agents, NomOS can check whether a planned action is allowed or needs approval.
Account for direct access separately
NomOS controls the paths that are technically connected. Personal accounts and direct model access outside those paths need to be addressed through the relevant IT and security processes. A platform alone cannot provide a complete view of AI use.
Check with teams whether the access route works
Assess whether approved sources help in daily work, how much rework is needed and which tasks are still unsupported. Include source and policy maintenance in that assessment.
A 30-day pilot lets you evaluate two workflows with NomOS. See Security for more about the controls and their limits.
